How can I make a special request about room allocation?

Do I need a separate room for my children?
The majority of our rooms accommodate a maximum of two adults. For families, we are happy to provide a travel cot or an extra bed for children up to the age of 11. This is available free of charge, but please call us directly once you have made your reservation to ensure availability.
Why does my confirmation say I only booked for one adult when I'm sure I booked for two?
Our rates are charged per room so there is no problem if the number of people on the booking is incorrect. Just let us know at check-in and we will update your reservation.
Is there parking?
If you plan to drive to us you can take advantage of our car park that is conveniently located below the hotel. The site is open 24 hours a day and equipped with in-house CCTV to ensure your vehicle is safe and secure. There are disabled parking spaces available and our helpful staff will be on hand night and day if you need any help getting to and from the car park.
Are triple rooms available?
Third adults can be accommodated in many of our rooms. Deluxe Studios and Park Suites are the most popular choices for three adults traveling together.
Is VAT included?
When quoting a room rate we will always include VAT, currently at 20 percent.
SMOKING POLICY
Our smoking policy
The Royal Garden Hotel is a completely non-smoking hotel. This decision has been taken due to strong guest feedback and an enthusiasm to improve our guests’ experience.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
When can I check-in?
Check-in is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. If you arrive before that and your room is ready, we will happily check you in. However, if we can’t, we will do our best to make your room available as soon as possible. Please contact our Reservations team for guaranteed early check-ins.
When is check-out?
Check-out is at 12:00. If you need to check-out later, you can keep your room until 18:00 for 50 per cent of the rate for a one-night stay. Check-out after 18:00 is charged at the full rate for a one-night stay. Alternatively, you can leave your luggage with our Concierge team free of charge and collect them when needed.
BREAKFAST
What are the breakfast options?
Continental (£24) or Full English (£28) breakfast is available in Origin Kensington, or in your room via our 24-hour room service. Children's (12 and under) breakfasts is free.
PET POLICY
Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets, with the exception of guide dogs. Contact our reservations team for more information.
