Roederer Family Wine Dinner

On Thursday 23 November, Giovanni Gargasole, Park Terrace Manager, invites you for a fun and informative evening sampling some iconic wines from the Louis Roederer Family portfolio.

Our Executive Head Chef, Steve Munkley, shall be creating a delectable menu to pair with these excellent wines from around the world;

Louis Roederer Brut Champagne, France

Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir, California

Chateau de Pez, St Estephe, Bordeaux, France

Ramos Pinto Ruby Collector Port, Portugal 

Champagne Louis Roederer, one of the last truly great independent and family-run champagne houses in the world, was established in 1776 and is still owned by decedents of Louis Roederer to this day. In the early 1980s the Roederer 'family' began extending with the purchase of vineyards in the Anderson Valley, California, followed by acquisitions in Porto, Bordeaux and Provence in the 1990s and 2000s.

This event is subject to availability. It includes wine tasting and a four course dinner. The event will take place on Thursday 23 November starting at 19.00. The experience is priced at £79.00 per person. Deposit required to guarantee booking.

Lous Roederer inherited the Champagne House in 1833 with the vision of mastering every stage of wine's creation. 12 Years later he acquired 15 hectares in the Grand Cru vineyards of Verzenay and his vision was underway. 

From Lous Roederer's small beginnings in 1833, the Roederer Estates now comprise of 240 hectares of vineyard, exclusively in both the Grands and Premier Crus of the Marne.

The Roederer Estate is one of the last great independent and family-run champagne houses left in the world.

Now managed by Frédéric Rouzaud, who represents the seventh generation of the Roederer lineage. The same patience and unshakeable faith that was instilled seven generations ago in creative vocation still go into the making of every bottle.
