Join us for a game masterclass

On Thursday 26 October, you are invited for a fun and informative evening where you will learn how to prepare and cook different types of game. 

Join us for welcome drinks and canapés before the main event takes place. 

The live demonstration by our Executive Head Chef, Steve Munkley, will mainly focus on the preparation and cooking of birds. He will show you how to properly pluck and prepare the birds before cooking them in a number of different ways.  

After the demonstration, you will be able to enjoy a cocktail with a three course meal from our à la carte menu. After the meal you will be served an enticing cheese board to finish the evening. 

£15 per person for the game masterclass.

£31 per person for a 3 course meal afterwards.

STEVE MUNKLEY - EXECUTIVE CHEF AT THE ROYAL GARDEN HOTEL

The Royal Garden Hotel's multi award-winning Head Chef, Steve Munkley, oversees the elegant Park Terrace restaurant and lounge, as well as 11 banqueting rooms that can cater for up to 550 people and 24 hour room service. 

Chef Munkley has over 60 chefs operating under his expert tuition and leadership at the Royal Garden Hotel. "We cook nothing in advance - everything is prepared to order after the guests sit down." explains Chef Munkley. 

Whenever possible Chef Munkley and his team try to use seasonal British produce from around the UK, such as the New Forest. Chef Munkley has created a new and exciting menu in Park Terrace, themed around contemporary European cuisine with a focus on seasonal produce from British suppliers. 

Working with the Craft Guild of Chefs, Chef Munkley founded the Graduate Awards in 2002, with the aim of developing the skills that young chefs had learnt in college and take them to the next level. Those that have achieved this award have gone on to work in some of the world's best restaurants and compete in worldwide competitions.
