The Hottest New Restaurant and Bar Openings
London has no shortage of high quality restaurants and bars, but there are always new offerings coming to the table. So if you have exhausted the well-established eateries on previous visits or are just keen to dine at the next big thing, here are the hottest places to go to in 2019:
Near & Far Camden
Set over four floors, including a stunning roof terrace, Near & Far offers delicious street food and breath-taking cocktails! Bringing California to Camden, you can expect a tropical vibe with palm trees and lush greenery, set against and oh-so pretty pastel colour palate.
Motscombs Supper Club
Dive into an experience of cocktails and jazz as founders Ross and Jacqueline Anderson bring Belgravia's old-school charm back to the city. Enjoy old fashioned Espresso Martinis as you tuck into fancy French dishes created by chef Laurent Baratki. With jungle prints adorning the walls and a classical violinist playing in the background you'd be crazy not to pay them a visit.
The dynamic due, Andrew Clarke and Jackson Boxer, have launched a spectacular seafood restaurant in Notting Hill, using classic techniques from European cuisine. Fitted with reclaimed antique french oak and vintage-looking washed walls, this new opening is perfect for a romantic night out! The Orasay also has an extensive wine list with a list of rare bottles straight from Jackson's personal wine cellar.
Adam Handling Chelsea
In the heart of Chelsea, you can experience elegant and contemporary British Cuisine by Chef Patron, Adam Handling. Or better yet, you can visit its warm and luxurious bar, offering elevated versions of many delicious cocktail favourites!
Gloria is an over the top, Italian restaurant and has two lavish dining rooms larger than life... One upstairs coated in marble with a 50's style decor and an explosion of flowers. The other downstairs, a 70's style room, with a sunken open kitchen, and a mirrored ceiling. And just when you thought the place couldn't get any better, you should see the menu...
Offering an elegant setting with deliciously bold, British cuisine, the ViVi is West End's newest hotspot for dining in style. Whether you wish to visit their destination cocktail bar, serving truly imaginative drinks, or indulge in the dining room where you are met with British dinners with a twist, you'll definitely be wanting more.
Two rotating kitchens, one long bar, and an extensive music programme has made its way to Shepherds Bush... W12 Studios has a capacity of 450 and is a space that everyone wants to be at. Showcasing artists means that no two days are the same, so if this sounds like something you'd be interested in, make sure you book a reservation!
Keep watching this space for more openings throughout the year...
