Are you looking for a festive gift for that special someone? London has some of the very best Christmas markets, each offering something different to make a festive visit worthwhile.

The Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park is one sterling example, and perfect for all the family.  There are over 200 wooden chalets to explore, so you won't go away empty-handed. Winter Wonderland is free-to-enter event, including a host of Christmas-themed fun and activities, such as big top shows and an observation wheel, to keep people amused and entertained.

The market, which stays open until 1 January, also has a stunning ice rink circling the Victorian bandstand, a Magical Ice Kingdom with a forest of frozen sculptures, a gleaming ice castle, and acrobatic wonders at the Zippos Circus and Cirque Beserk shows.

Southbank Centre christmas market

At the Southbank Centre Christmas Market, visitors can explore the traditionally decorated wooden chalets that sell a wide range of unique hand-crafted gifts and food and drink.

The market is open 10 November 2018 - 4 January 2019 January and is part of the Southbank Centre’s Winter Festival, where visitors can also enjoy Christmas shows, as well as free music and events, while the stalls offer plenty of affordable and quirky gifts for family and friends for Christmas and beyond.

Leicester Square christmas festival

The Christmas festival will take place in the centre of London, turning it into a festive wonderland for you and the family. Santa's Grotto, food, drinks and Christmas goodies will also be available for you to get your mitts on.

Christmas in Leicester Square has something for everyone. The new Christmas festival opening times are from 9th November - 5th January 2019.

London Bridge Christmas Market

Enjoy Christmas By The River, the annual free Christmas market on the bank-side of the Thames, decorated in festive lights and Christmas trees and Christmas stalls to discover.  Not only is the market great for gift buying, but also a great place to stop and have a drink.
