In our busy everyday lives, it can be good to set some time aside away from your family and other half and have some fun with the girls.

If you're planning a girly weekend away, then London is a fantastic location. What it lacks in guaranteed sunshine, it makes up for in culture hotspots, delicious restaurants and much, much more.

Here are our top five ways to spend your next weekend with the girls in London:

Make the most of the fantastic spas

Throughout London you can find some of the best spas in the world. From the Spa Experience in Kensington just a short walk away from our hotel, to ones in central London like Spa London, they are the perfect place to relax with your girl friends. Prices vary depending on where you go and what treatments you have, but most do special packages so you can spoil yourself with a variety of massages and other treatments.

Cocktails with a stunning view

There are few things better than enjoying a drink (or a couple) with your best friends and London offers some truly stunning views for you to take in while you giggle the night away. Why not experience all London has to offer with a glass or two at the top of the Shard or explore the eccentric decor at Mark's Bars, just a short walk away from Piccadilly Circus? If you fancy something a little closer to home, you can enjoy a range of drinks in our Min Jiang or Park Terrace bars.

Dance the night away

Dancing is a fantastic way to keep fit and there's nowhere better to bust out some new moves than this bustling city. Whether you want to take a class with your friends and learn how the professionals do it or want to just let your hair down and have a good time, London is a fantastic place to let yourself go. In the heart of Kensington, there's Twist and Pout that allows you and your girls to take an 1.5 hour 80s-themed class where you get expert tuition, as well as the opportunity to have a giggle.

Sample the West End

It's hard to talk about a weekend to London without mentioning its fantastic theatre district. No matter what you and your friends are into, you'll find a show or performance at the West End that whets your appetite. From taking in some of the classics like Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera to experiencing new shows that are taking the stage by storm, such as Matilda or Book of Mormon, you'll struggle to find a better way to spend the evening with the girls.

Afternoon tea

Overlooking Kensington Gardens, we have the perfect setting to unwind after a day spent shopping or for a special treat with friends and family. Guests can enjoy live music from our resident pianist as they enjoy, our Afternoon Teas. Upgrade to the Royal Tea and indulge in a glass of champagne accompanied by strawberries with vintage balsamic drizzle.
