The Royal Garden Hotel is one of the UK’s largest five red star hotels comprising of 394 bedrooms, three bars, two restaurants and extensive conference and events spaces. Priding itself on providing a tailored personalised guest service, the Royal Garden Hotel is located on High Street Kensington next to some of London’s most famous attractions.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Royal Garden Hotel as the Digital Marketing Executive. This position would suit someone that has previous experience in a marketing team, preferably in a hotel environment although not essential.

Main responsibilities of the role are outlined but not limited to;

-Maintaining the website using the CMS (Umbraco) for optimal performance.

-Using analytical data from tools such as Google Analytics to report on website performance and influence strategy increasing conversion and revenue.

-Creating content for both the hotel and its restaurants, across all marketing channels including website, email campaigns, blog posts and social media content.

-Managing all forms of social media, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and social advertising to ensure we are up to date with the latest trends and developments.

-Liaising with external agencies who support us across a number of different marketing channels.

-Working on projects both independently and as a dedicated member of the team.

-Communicating internally and externally using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word.

-Some design may be required when creating advertising campaigns so experience with Adobe creative suite is beneficial but not essential.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a professional to join our Sales and Marketing team here at the Royal Garden Hotel as a Business Development Manager.

We are looking for a motivated individual who ideally has some experience within a pro-active sales role within a hotel. The successful candidate will ideally have the ability to generate new business leads, understand clients business and have the ability to build relationships.

The Business Development Manager role will ensure that all agreed revenue and activity targets are achieved for required segments with the primary focus of securing residential meetings and groups. Furthermore it is to develop new business and develop accounts through sales phones and face to face appointments.

In the role you will:

    • Performs duties in line with departmental Standard Operating Procedures
    • Identify new business sales leads from individual sales research
    • Make the required external and internal sales appointment targets set by the Director of Sales
    • Builds and completes external sales missions that will involve domestic travel and potentially international travel
    • Attends and organises tradeshows and networking events as required
    • Handover enquiries to C&E Co-ordinators, Account Manager and Sales Executives for conversion. Be involved, as required, to negotiate and convert the enquiry
    • Builds relationships with MICE agents Leisure agents, DMCs and direct corporate clients to maximise number of enquiries received in order to grow revenue in line with budget requirements
    • Make the required external and internal sales appointment targets set by the Director of Sales

Account Manager

Account Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic professional to join our Sales and Marketing team here at the Royal Garden Hotel as an Account Manager.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a confident and outgoing personality. The successful candidate will ideally have the ability to develop relationships, prioritise tasks, and be able to plan client requirements and managing needs.

The Account Manager role will be responsible for the hotels re-active group, leisure and corporate sales function. Whilst managing tasks of Sales Executives and implements agreed sales strategies. In this role we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience within a hotel environment or group sales environment and has the ability to manage people as well.

    • In the role you will:
    • Manage a team of Sales Executives ensuring they excel in their duties
    • Responsibility for converting group enquiries
    • Manages corporate and leisure contracting
    • Manages Group contracting
    • Manages deposit and billing requirement for groups stays
    • Identifying and pass on sales leads to the pro-active sales team from Groups, Reception, Reservations, Food and Beverage and Conference and Events
    • Work alongside the Senior Conference and Events Sales Co-ordinator ensuring a joint Groups and Conference and Event sales strategy is followed
    • Completes in full the Groups booking tasks by implementing and adhering to the company enquiry process with the aim of converting group enquiries, involving the pro-active sales team where required.
    • Ensures all group enquiries are placed in Delphi on the same working day as proposing to the client
