Housekeeping Porter

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our professional and well established Housekeeping Department. We pride ourselves in giving only the very best in customer service and quality standards.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who ideally bring previous housekeeping/cleaning experience in a similar establishment. You will need to have an eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively as well as work under pressure. You will need to demonstrate good communication and customer services skills and provide a warm and friendly service to our guests.

As House Porter, you will be responsible for distributing linen to the service areas and delivering dirty linen to our linen room as well as ensuring that stock levels of cleaning supplies are maintained in the Room Attendant cupboards and service areas. You will also need to respond to guest requests, such as delivering extra cots, ironing boards or extra towels to the rooms.

Housekeeping Trainer

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London.

We are looking for an individual who has a good track record of previous housekeeping operations experience in a four or five-star hotel of a similar standard. You must have good English language skills. You will need to demonstrate a proactive approach to communication.

Core responsibilities

  • Deal courteously and efficiently with all guest enquiries and requirements.
  • Performs all tasks to a consistent standard, as detailed in the Housekeeping SOP Manual.
  • Ensures that all lost property is handed into the Housekeeping office.
  • Minimises operating costs by using all equipment and products in accordance with the Hotel’s or manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Ensures that any chemicals are used in accordance with COSHH regulations.
  • Keeps working area clean and tidy.
  • Organises all training for the housekeeping team.
  • Updates all SOP manuals, log books, training records.
  • Is flexible in assisting in different areas of the Housekeeping Department in response to business and client needs.
  • Achieves action points arising and in line with the departmental and hotel objectives.

Floor Housekeeper

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London. In 2007 the department was recognised by the Hotel and Catering Personnel and Training Association by awarding the Executive Housekeeper 'Excellence by an Operations Line Manager'.

As Floor Housekeeper you will be responsible for supervising a team of Room Attendants, House Porters and Evening Room Attendants, ensuring that our bedrooms are turned around effectively and presented in line with our exceptional five star standards as well as that guest requests are responded to in an efficient and courteous manner. You will be responsible for checking 80 to 85 rooms. You will need to build strong working relationships with other departments within the hotel such as our Front Office team and Technical Services.

We are looking for an individual who has a good track record of previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a four or five star hotel of a similar standard. You must have good English language skills. You will need to demonstrate a proactive approach to communication. You will bring the ability to delegate effectively and monitor progress as well as having an eye for detail when checking rooms.

Valet Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of this professional and well established Housekeeping Department in an independent five star 394 bedroom hotel in the heart of Kensington, London.

Role

Under the guidance of the Valet Services Manager and Housekeeping Management team, the Valet Assistant will be responsible for providing guests with a distinctive laundry service. You will be involved in all aspects of the Valet cycle from the Laundry service and pressing of our guests’ garments to the delivery of the garments to the guests’ rooms.

Job Requirements

Essential

  • Recent relevant experience of pressing in a similar establishment
  • Strong command of the English language as you will be liaising with our guests, both over the phone and in person
  • Strong organisational skills as you will have to manage, prioritise and understand the importance of working to tight deadlines.
  • Impeccable presentation and excellent communication skills

Desirable

  • Recent relevant experience in a 4* - 5* hotel in London
  • Second modern language
