The Royal Garden's Park Terrace Restaurant reveals an elegant look to celebrate its exquisite new menu

Kensington's favourite five star hotel, The Royal Garden, is delighted to reveal an elegant new look for its renowned Park Terrace Restaurant.  Executive Head Chef, Steve Munkley, has created an inspired menu based around provenance which celebrates well sourced seasonal ingredients. 

From breakfast right through to its quintessentially English afternoon teas and dinner menu, guests at the Park Terrace are sure to be impressed with the wide range of dishes that have been selected to suit all palates. 

The menus feature options to suit a range of diets:  as well as the traditional English and Continental breakfasts, the Royal Garden offers a special Oriental breakfast along with options for high protein, low fat and low cholesterol diets. 

A modest lunch special of two courses is available for £14.50 or three courses for £17.50 from the menu du jour: highlights include Honey and thyme glazed Blythburgh organic pork belly with a creamed cassoulet of white beans and smoked bacon, the Chef's speciality of the day from the butchers plus Vanilla buttermilk panacotta, apple flapjack and toffee sauce.  Everyday favourites such as Niçoise salad topped with marinated tuna steak are also available, along with a selection of popular Oriental dishes cooked to traditional Eastern recipes using authentic Asian ingredients.

The exceptional dinner menu features a note from the Chef to introduce the menu as well as the producers and suppliers of the ingredients used. The Modern British dinner menu includes Seared Dorset scallops with a shaved fennel and ruby grapefruit salad, Roasted loin of New Forest venison, celeriac puree, root vegetable terrine and sauteed Pink Fir Apple potatoes and Pear tarte tatin with cardamom ice cream. 

Vegetarians are well catered for with options including Basil gnocchi with a poached free range hen's egg, creamed beans and toasted hazelnuts. On certain evenings a pianist adds to the relaxed ambiance.

A special Sunday lunch menu is available for the price of £19.50 for two courses or £24.50 for three courses: options include the ever present traditional Roast sirloin of beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and market vegetables. Vegetarians can choose from options such as Pumpkin risotto with wild rocket salad.

The imaginative wine list has been carefully selected to complement the menu and suits a variety of tastes.
