Bertie's Bar is ideal for drinking in, snacking in or simply just being in. An elegant and stylish space combines with the relaxed, fun and friendly ambience created by bar manager Luis Cobas. A host with more than 30 years experience at the hotel, Luis will guarantee warm hospitability, excellent service and discretion as he believes substance is as important as style.
A clear glass wall has been installed along the full length of the bar to provide valuable privacy between Bertie's and the foyer. Specially created zones, with their own mood and furnishings, make Bertie's the perfect spot for both lively social gatherings and those seeking a little more intimacy.
Bertie's offers an extensive drinks range including 10 different types of wine by the glass, 12 speciality beers and a selection of over 15 malt whiskies. Guests can also choose from a range of bar snacks including Caribbean Jerk Chicken Winglets and Mini Sausage and Mustard Mash.
Bertie's Bar is open from 5pm to 11pm (2.00am for hotel guests), Monday to Saturday.
Between the 18th January - April 2010 Bertie's will also host snacks and coffee's from 9am to 5pm. A limited afternoon tea service will be served from 2.30pm - 5pm during this time.
