Diana: a Princess remembered

Diana: a Princess remembered is an audiovisual exhibition drawing on memorable moments in the life of the Princess. Beginning with the shy teenage girl who captured hearts around the world and then as a blushing bride, the exhibition follows her growth into a sophisticated princess and dedicated mother, who became internationally respected and admired as much for her beauty as for her tireless work for charities.

Hundreds of photographs have been brought together with television footage, to create the largest collection of images of Princess Diana on public display in this anniversary year. The exhibition looks back over Diana's life and achievements focusing on four memorable aspects of her life as:  princess, mother, fashion icon and humanitarian.

These themes are also explored through interviews with people who knew the Princess of Wales personally. Designers Elizabeth Emanuel, Bruce Oldfield and David Sassoon talk about working with the Princess to create the stunning evening dresses and formal day wear for which she was renowned. Photographers Jayne Fincher, Tim Graham, Arthur Edwards and Ian Jones talk through their memories and stories about photographing one of the world's most iconic women, during her public duties but also at more private moments. Finally, representatives from some of the many charities she patronised and supported recall the Princess's work with them, and how she often used her celebrity to bring difficult issues to the fore, raising awareness and deepening understanding of important causes.

The tour finishes with a set of stunning portraits of the Princess of Wales by Mario Testino and an interview
