Where is breakfast served?

You can enjoy Continental (£20.50) or full English breakfast (£25.00) in the Park Terrace, or alternatively you can have breakfast served in your room by calling our 24hr room service.

How much is children's breakfast?

Children’s breakfast is half the adult price; £12.50 for English breakfast and £10.25 for Continental breakfast. Children are considered children up to the age of 11, 12 year olds are considered adults.

What time can I check-in?

From 14:00 on the day of arrival

Can I request an early check-in?

Yes, although unfortunately we can not guarantee access to the rooms before that. If the room is not available, you can always leave the suitcases at the concierge desk and use the health club to freshen up if needed. Our reception desk will do their best on the date of arrival.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 12.00.

What about a late check-out?

In regards to the late check out, we can offer you the following:
Up to 18:00 hrs it is 50% of the one night accommodation rate
After 18:00 hrs it is one night accommodation.
Alternatively, you are welcome to leave your suitcases at the Concierge desk and come back to collect them when needed - without any extra cost.

How do we book a double and a twin room when the system only allows us to book one room type?

You can only book one room type per booking. However we do have some twin rooms; please call the hotel directly to check availability on this room type and to amend or make your booking for a Twin. Only by getting a direct confirmation from the hotel will your twin room be guaranteed.

We have children and the website is saying we need to book two rooms.

The maximum number of people in a room is two. However we can accommodate one infant with travel cots sharing their parents' room and extra beds for children under 11 years old. Travel cots and extra beds are available free of charge from the hotel. As soon as you have made your reservation, please call the hotel directly in order to check the availability and book a cot or extra bed.

I'm sure I booked for two adults but when I received my confirmation it says only one adult. Do I need to get this changed before I arrive?

Our rates are charged per room rather than per person, so this does not affect the price you pay. There is no problem if you have not entered the correct number of guests. We will simply change this at check-in. Please note the maximum capacity is two adults per room except a Queen room which is single occupancy.

Can you fit three adults in a room/Do you sell triple rooms?
We do offer a supplement for a third adult from £35 per night, which is bookable in a King, Twin, Executive, Park Suite or Master Suite. To experience that extra bit of space we do recommend an Executive or Park Suite. Please email to find out more.

Is VAT included?

VAT in the UK is currently 20%. When we quote a room rate we will always explain whether the cost is inclusive or exclusive of VAT. Most of the rates shown on the booking engine or quoted on the phone are inclusive of VAT at 20% as per UK guidelines. However, the booking engine or reservation agency will always inform you of whether VAT is included or not. 
What about service charge?

The Royal Garden Hotel does not charge a service charge.

What is the hotel's pet policy?
