Whether it’s a VIP arrival, a large diplomatic visit or organizing a guest’s holiday, working in Concierge in a 5 Star Hotel is all about knowledge and presence. Demonstrating the ability to multitask and read our guests needs, exceeding their expectations by delivering at short notice whilst sharing knowledge about the finest detail. Knowing what is happening in London, from new restaurant openings to what is being discussed in parliament is also paramount, as you never know what you will be asked. There are a number of different roles in the concierge department and each one is key to delivering excellence in service.
As Doorperson you will be the very first point of contact for our guests and anybody visiting the Royal Garden Hotel and will need to ensure that everybody entering the building receives a truly five star welcoming. You will oversee and manage the hotel’s forecourt and ensure that the forecourt is kept clear and tidy at all times as well as organising and controlling the parking of guest cars. You will also be responsible for arranging black taxi services for our guests
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well presented individual with a very friendly manner. Previous experience in a customer facing role is essential, ideally within a similar establishment in Front Office or Concierge.
You MUST hold a full, clean drivers license for this role.
