A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conference and Events Sales Manager to join our Sales and Marketing department at the Royal Garden Hotel.
Our Sales and Marketing team successfully position the Royal Garden Hotel internationally in the London 5 Star market – one of the most competitive luxury hotel markets in the world. They seek out potential guests for the hotel by spreading our vision as the most flexible and creative hotel offering outstanding value for money. Our Sales and Marketing team have a keen interest in building sustained customer relationships with a view to develop business.
As Conference and Events Sales Manager, you will be working closely with the Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing and Conference and Events Manager to develop and maintain accounts within the Conference and Events segment, ensuring that the hotel receives maximum business. This is a proactive sales role and entails setting-up and implementing the annual sales strategy and researching new and exciting business opportunities. It will also require you to organise and host familiarisation, networking and entertainment events to introduce potential new agency and direct clients to the Royal Garden Hotel.
You will need to have a strong business sense and the proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both, internal and external customers. Both written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as a friendly and persuasive approach. Previous experience in Conference and Events proactive Sales is vital. Ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in Delphi and opera and have knowledge of third party online providers e.g. Cvent.
